Jill reached out to Heritage Outdoors in early October with a situation that's more common than it should be. She had hired another company in the spring, paid a deposit, watched work start — and then watched it stop. By fall she had a partially demolished backyard, a dumpster still sitting in front of her house, and no patio. Spring had turned to summer. Summer had turned to fall. The original contractor had gone silent.
Haven got her on the schedule immediately. The clock was ticking — a Minnesota November doesn't give you much runway, and Jill had an outdoor party she was hoping to host. By the first week of November we had excavated, compacted, and installed her full patio before the ground froze.
The material was RCP Reno in Beachwood — a smooth-faced paver with warm brown and lighter tan tones — installed at a 45-degree angle across the entire field. More cuts, more work, but the diagonal pattern gives the patio a level of detail that makes it feel custom. The border is RCP Holland in Mocha, laid in a double sailor course that frames the whole thing cleanly.

Once the site was cleared and excavated, it was full base prep — compacted gravel base, screeded bedding sand, and then pavers set at 45 degrees across the entire field. The diagonal pattern means every edge cut is at an angle, which slows things down but delivers a result that a standard pattern simply can't match.
