She listens to how you actually use your outdoor space, what's not working about the current yard, and what you want it to feel like when it's done. Sod & lawn installation
Fresh sod over properly graded and prepared ground. Heritage Outdoors handles the full process — grading, topsoil amendment when needed, and sod installation. We've completed full sod installs of 5,000+ sq ft in a single day. We advise on watering schedules and establishment so the investment holds.
Grading & drainage
Water pooling near the foundation, low spots that stay saturated, yards that drain toward the house instead of away from it — these are fixable. Heritage Outdoors corrects grade, installs drain tile, and builds proper slope into every project. A drainage problem that's ignored becomes a foundation problem.
Garden beds & plantings
Haven designs garden beds around how you actually want to maintain them — low-maintenance perennials, pollinator gardens, native plantings, evergreen structure, or formal annual beds. Installation includes edging, soil prep, and planting. We design beds that look intentional and work with the overall yard, not against it.

From a simple paver circle firepit to a full outdoor living room with built-in seating, firepit, and integrated lighting — Heritage Outdoors designs and builds outdoor living spaces that get used. Discovery call
Haven picks up or calls back quickly. This first conversation covers what you're envisioning for the yard, where the property is, and roughly what your budget looks like. We ask about budget early — it genuinely changes what we recommend. If the project isn't a fit, we'll tell you honestly on the call rather than waste your time.

Free site visit & ballpark
Haven walks the property — drainage, grade, sun exposure, existing conditions. By the end of the visit you'll have a realistic ballpark, not a vague "it depends." Any complicating factors are flagged before you've committed to anything. Free, no obligation.

Design, proposal & build
For larger landscape design-build projects, a design deposit kicks off Haven's formal design work — it applies to your project if you move forward, and you keep the design if you don't. Simpler installs go straight to a detailed proposal. Once signed, Jacob leads the install. One of us is there every day through the final walkthrough.
