Scott found Heritage Outdoors through Nextdoor — and as it happened, Jacob and Haven were both out when the message came in. They met Scott together for the first time, right there in the Minnehaha neighborhood, standing next to the old timber wall he'd been looking at for years. Good person with a straightforward ask: replace the rotting timbers with something that would last.
At the end of that first conversation, Scott said something Jacob remembers: "I really like you guys and want you to do my wall. If you're fair with me on the price, I won't even get another bid." As Jacob tells homeowners, Heritage isn't going to retire off one project — hardscape is a big investment and they price it to reflect the quality of the install, not to cut corners.
The project came together cleanly: Versa-Lok Standard in Granite Gray with matching cap, ~275 square feet, and two mulch beds built behind the wall — one for vegetables, one for landscaping. From rotting timbers to a front yard that looks like it's been there forever.
